• Rod signed with the Rough Rider in 1987 after playing in the NFL (Denver Broncos) in 1985-1986. Rod started in 80 games as a professional in the CFL. Rod’s most memorable moment was running a 95 yard interception return in college at Oklahoma State University against Bowling Green University. Rod was coached by some of the best coaches in the sport: Jimmy Johnson (Dallas Cowboys 2x Super Bowl Champion-Miami Dolphins), Dave Wannstedt (Dallas Cowboys 2x Super Bowl Champion, Miami Dolphins), Butch Davis (Dallas Cowboys 2x Super Bowl Champion, Miami Dolphins), Larry Coker- (Miami Hurricanes), Houston Nutt-(Arkansas Razorbacks), Tony Wise-(Dallas Cowboys 2x Super Bowl Champion, Miami Dolphins); etc…
